I agree with your analysis but it occurrs to me that threatening the metaphoric 'madman with the hand granate in the elevator' is perhaps the best way to make him pull the plug. In other words, forming the coalition you suggest and then confronting the US with it, isn't that the best way to bring about that "big overarching cataclysm", that you mention? I'm not suggesting meekly submitting to the US. But I think the presidents of Russia and China are wise in also managing the madman's insanity.

Such a fusion of labor and ingenuity is how we can expand beyond Earth more rapidly and permanently than we have been able to do since the moon race/landings concluded in 1972 thus enriching life on our homeplanet as well. Excellent piece. The US neocons and other extremist factions of the government only care about making more money and retaining power at any cost. It's so obvious what's happening. I used to live there. The government, especially the CIA has spent centuries brainwashing them through psyops and owning the mass media among others. Subsequently, they continue to vote these neocons into office. It's the Democrats turn to show the world who really controls the country for now they truly are a one party, military state. I haven't seen this many worldwide protests, including in the US for Palestine in my entire life. It took the killing of babies and children by Israel to wake up the world but especially US citizens, and to speak out against Israel and the US government's financial and political support of this genocide of the Paletinians. Maybe this is what will finally bring down these neocons from continuing to destroy those who won't bow down to them. As someone who lives in South America, we fully know what the US Empire can do to a country. I will continue to believe that we can stop them, as a collective of countries and their people, and we can all move towards more peaceful and prosperous times for everyone.
