The ruling of the ICJ will be on Friday at 12000 GMT. I agree completely with your analysis. This is a very good litmus test for everyone and every party, country, etc. If you can't see how wrong this is, there is no help for you. The US and Germany have already failed the test.

At the end of his two volume biography of Hitler, the Historian Ian Kershaw meditates on what happened to Germany between 1933 and 1945. One of the factors he identified was that German society had suffered a complete moral and cultural collapse. Viewing the ongoing genocide in Gaza I can only conclude that this is what has happened to Israeli society.

And it's been going on for a long time. I admit that I have not been nearly as aware of it as I should have been, being more concentrated on Big Brother, but Gaza has made it crystal clear. The German spinelessness has been clear since the beginning of the Ukraine war, and this confirms it.

Another fine analysis by Dr. Amar. My most global fear is based on the fact that the Zionist fanatics who control the Israeli state possess nuclear weapons. While Lebanon is probably too close to attack Beirut with one (despite some Israeli official calling for "nuking" Gaza), and they can do significant damage to Lebanon without one, Tehran is not so close, and Iran is a much more formidable foe than even Hezbollah. Tel Aviv could be hit hard by Iranian missiles. I think that Israeli nuclear weapons, among other things, are a factor for Iran in considering what it will do. But its hand may also be forced. It's just very scary to contemplate what Israel might do in desperation, but I agree that there is no alternative to dismantling the Zionist state.

I so wish I could bear witness to "history's capacity to surprise"!

Thank you for dissecting these shameful euphemisms.
